You can export your chart to Excel and can tailor the exported data to your individual needs.
Keep in mind that when exporting a chart, only the styles, filters, and fields currently appearing in the chart will be included. For information on controlling displayed chart information, see Using the Control Panel.
1. Display your chart in the Main Workspace.
2. In the Main Toolbar, click the Share button and choose Excel to display the Export Chart to Excel dialog.
3. In the Include Fields area, select the fields you want to export from the Available Fields list:
• Enter a field name...: Use the drop-down menu to select from a list of available fields.
Note: You can reorder the fields in the Include Fields box by dragging the field to the desired position, or delete a field by clicking the X in the field name item.
• Add All: Adds all fields from the Available Fields list.
• Add Display: adds all display fields.
• Add Profile: adds all profile fields.
• Remove All: removes all fields from the text box.
4. Select the additional information you want to include in the export file:
• Include Header Row: Check the box to include a row at the top of the spreadsheet saying "Field Column Headers".
• Include Reporting Relationships: Check the box to include a column representing reporting relationships in the spreadsheet.
5. Select which part of the chart you want to export:
• Entire chart: Includes all boxes in a chart, including levels above and below the current sub-chart.
• Displayed chart: Only includes boxes in the current sub-chart.
• Displayed Top Box + X levels: Only includes boxes beginning with the displayed top box, plus a number of subordinate levels. Use the dropdown menu to select the number of levels you want included in your spreadsheet file.
• Selected Boxes: Only includes the boxes that were 'selected' before the Sharing button was clicked.
6. Click Export. The file will be sent to the browser as a download.
